This route from Elmers End to Downe and back, via West Wickham and Biggin Hill is a popular route with the improvers ride. The route can be extended by doing two loops of the Downe section.

This route, from Elmers End along Pilgrim's Way is popular with all groups.

This longer ride to Box Hill is popular with all groups, especially during the summer when we usually make a stop at the National Trust cafe at the top of Box Hill. Don't forget to bring some money for tea and cake!

This route from Elmers End, up Layhams Road then out to Cudham, through Downe and back to Elmers End has a couple of short sharp climbs, and is a good route for the improvers and intermediate groups, leaving plenty of time for a cafe stop back at Elmers End.

This 47k route, leaving from Elmers End goes via West Wickham, up Layhams Road, out to Biggin Hill, down Westerham Hill, along Pilgrims Way, up Starhill, through Knockholt, down through Cudham and Downe, back to West Wickham and returns to Elmers End.

Addiscombe Cycle Club do a great route from South Coulsdon, Redhill, Gatwick, Charlwood (where there's a cafe stop), then back via Newdigate, Leigh and Reigate. There is a map of this route on the Addiscombe CC website.
