Find out about our annual training fees, which are extremely good value for anyone attending regular weekly sessions.

Note: Monday and Tuesday swims at Crystal Palace and Tuesday sessions at HHV (winter/spring) are now only available to fully paid up members who have also paid the annual training fee.

Attendance at Club training sessions - Q1

The chart below shows training session attendance for the first quarter of 2014, with 1522 attendances so far!

If anyone wants to take advantage of the all inclusive training fees for April - December, £115 can be paid now (excluding individual entrance fees to facilities where required).

Congratulations to Dan who posted a good time at his first Hillingdon Duathlon as an adult. He managed to finish 14th overall, but more importantly first out of the juniors.

Clumber Park Duathlon race report

I'm pleased to report that I came fourth in my age group at the Clumber Park Standard Distance Duathlon on Saturday. But for a mechanical failure
on the bike, necessitating some lightning work with the allen keys, I might well have come second. Still, fourth was good enough to give me automatic qualification for the British World Championships Team this
year, though for various reasons I don't think I'm going to take up my

Interestingly, my time was quicker than when I won the bronze in the
British Duathlon Championships in 2008 (in the age group below). Must be all those hill reps with Emily, the chain gangs with Selwyn and, last but not least, Jon's Super Saturdays!

A big thank you to those coaches for their help.

Mark says about Richmond "A lovely (mostly) towpath run if a bit chilly and windy. Much less hilly than Hastings.... in fact pancake flat!".

Weekend training sessions - 22-23 March

Super Saturday - 22 March:

The session will be turbo / run.
- Meet 09:20 outside the CPSIC
- Part one: Turbo session with race pace intervals
- Part two: Break / change
- Part three: Mixed pace run session
- Close 11:50 with stretches

There are some Club turbo trainers for members to use on a first come basis, bring a rear wheel turbo skewer if you have one.

Please bring run and bike kit, food and drink.

£10 or included in the annual training fee.

Hillingdon - Sunday 23 March:

The session will have a cycle and duathlon focus.
- Meet 09:00 Hillingdon Cycle circuit
- Group warm-up in ability groups
- Part one: Duathlon focus
- Part two: Endurance / group riding
- Part three: Races etc
- Close 12:30

We will have two breaks in between sessions.

Please bring run and bike kit (plenty of layers), food and drink.

This will be a junior coached session with adult members welcome to attend and join in with an ability group or do their own thing.

£10 or included in the annual training fee.
