Junior club funds used at the lake! The CPT lake training session proved popular last Sunday with 22 juniors swimming at Chipstead Lake. The Club was delighted to be able to provide this opportunity to its members and give some open water experience and training ahead of the races coming up.
Some of our fundraising money along with a generous donation from Yee Associates allowed us to increase the number of Club wetsuits to hire out to members. We purchased nine new or second hand wetsuits. We now have a total of 15 wetsuits for hire and hope to add to this over the coming years with extra sizes and shapes. Thanks go to Zone 3 who generously supported our Club.
London Region Junior Series 2015 so far!Congratulations to everyone who raced at the inaugural Thames Turbo duathlon on Sunday (results below), Sheila counted 27 CPT juniors there battling it out in the windy (and for some races wet!) conditions. Well done also to the parents and coaches who raced in the morning.
There was some very exciting racing with CPT taking eight podium places throughout the age groups, the most of any club there!
3 first places - Christo, Oskar & Dan
3 second places - Lottie, Zac P & Reef
2 third places - Harry & Elle
